is anyone else going to the burlesque show on saturday???
a few weeks ago, we bought a bread machine. i've been wanting to get into making my own bread, but everytime i think about it, i laze out. bread machines are great for lazy people, especially dirt cheap bread machines! i made a few tasty 1 pound loaves: rosemary bread, challah. but then i tried to make a 2 lbs loaf of challah, so that we could give half away. it just kept rising and rising in the machine. it kept rising as it started to bake, too. by the end of the bake cycle, it had completely blown the lid off, and was spilling over the edge of the machine. it was a disaster. don't think i'll be making a 2 lbs loaf again any time soon. |

curious...when you see this word:

do you think it would sound like mee-rah or my-rah?
do you think the i would need some sort of funny accent to make it sound like ee? or is it fine the way it is?

i've been thinking of making this journal friends-only for some time now. all of a sudden i started to feel over-exposed. so i just spent the last hour editing most of my public entries (thank goodness there weren't too many!) and making them friends-only. i feel much better now.
sooo.... that means that some of you may need to open a livejournal account and friend me! and then let me know that you friended me! i promise more juicy details this way! (ok, so my journal wasn't ever that juicy. but i'll try my best) |
